It wasn’t as amazing as Uprooted and there were some problems for me that could easily have been fixed, but it was still a great book overall. While not an actual sequel, Spinning Silver is the spiritual successor to that book and so had quite a lot to live up to. Like many other readers, I adored Naomi Novik’s first foray into fairy tale territory in the shape of her novel Uprooted. ![]()
